8/18/06 - HELLO WISCONSIN!
We are very excited to announce that Birchwood Lighting will now be represented in the wonderful state of Wisconsin by Enterprise Lighting, Ltd.  Enterprise is able to cover the entire state through their six strategically located offices.  They have a proven record for great customer service with over 25 years in existence.  We know that Enterprise Lighting will be a great addition to the Birchwood family.

7/27/06 - BIRCHWOOD BACK UP AND RUNNING IN HOUSTON
We are proud to announce that Birchwood Lighting is now represented by Lighting Associates, Inc. in the Houston and Gulf Coast area of Texas.  As an industry leader in specification, distributor and contractor lighting sales for over 30 years, Lighting Associates has helped create effective lighting solutions for a wide variety of clientele.  We are excited to have Lighting Associates on board. 

4/28/06 - BIRCHWOOD INTRODUCES THE "QCS SYSTEM"
The QCS (Quick Connect System) can be ordered for all ASHLEY and most WP SYSTEM luminaires.  It is factory installed and cuts installation time significantly.  Now fixtures don't have to be opened during installation.  Just add "QCS" in the "options" section of your specification.  Contact the factory for more information.

3/10/06 - NEW CATALOG - NEW LOOK
The long wait is over.  The new catalog is being printed right now and should be ready for delivery by March 22nd.  There are over 150 products in there including many new items.  Request one here.

11/28/05 - GOING BIG IN PHILLY
Birchwood Lighting has just signed on Diversified Lighting Associates to represent us in all of Eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware and Southern New Jersey.  With five offices and dozens of employees, we know that Diversified Lighting will be able to help the local community understand and use Birchwood Lighting.

10/21/05 - LIGHTSHOW/WEST IN L.A.

9/1/05 - NEW NAME, SAME GREAT SERVICE IN MICHIGAN
Starting today, our Michigan sales agency, Lightsmith, has become a Lightolier factory team.  They will continue to be our sales agency and they will be working out of the same location with the same contact numbers.  They have also added two new members to their sales team to better serve the Western Michigan territory. 

11/4/04 - TWO BIG, BIG CHANGES
We have changed sales representatives in Chicago and New York City.  In Chicago (actually Central and Northern Illinois), we will be represented by Pilipuf-Grist & Associates.  This is the number one agency in the Chicago area so it's another perfect fit.  In New York City, Birchwood Lighting will be represented by The Dulanski Group.  Headed up by Gary Dulanski, this is a newly established agency with an unbelievable amount of lighting experience in New York.  We look forward to growing alongside them.

7/9/04 - Seattle Done Proper
Birchwood Lighting has just reached an agreement with Sea-Tac Lighting Sales in Seattle.  Sea-Tac will be representing Birchwood Lighting in the western part of Washington as well as Southeastern Alaska.  We are very excited to be aligned with the top lighting agency in that territory.

6/4/04 - Hello North Carolina!
Birchwood Lighting has just completed agreements with three new agencies in North Carolina.  This is the first time we have set-up authorized sales reps in this territory and we are very much looking forward to working there.  Please feel free to contact any of these agencies to request a catalog, get a quote or just for general information.  Concept Lighting Sales has offices in Wake Forrest and Wilmington.  They cover the eastern and south-eastern portion of the state.  Bodwell & Associates has an office in Charlotte and covers the western part of the state.  J. Todd Brown is located in Greensboro and covers the central part of the state.

4/21/04 - Change in Boston
We are proud to announce that we have made a change in Eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island.  We are very excited to announce that Birchwood Lighting will now be represented by Boston Light Source in those territories.  Boston Light Source has long been established as the leading lighting sales agency in the greater Boston area so it makes perfect sense for Birchwood Lighting to be aligned with them. 

3/9/04 - SYDNEY PATENT COMPLETE
Today, March 9, 2004, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office issued patent number 6,702,453 to inventor Darrin Weedon and Birchwood Lighting.  The patent is for the SYDNEY Field Curvable Lighting system.  Sydney's ability to bend in any direction as well as adjust lengthwise is a giant improvement over other curvable fluorescent lighting systems on the market.  Ironically, the patent was issued on the 11th birthday of the product's namesake and daughter of the inventor.

12/1/2003 - CAL Lighting Expands Territory
CAL Lighting, who already represents Birchwood Lighting in Northern California and Northern Nevada, has expanded it's territory.  CAL will now represent Birchwood Lighting on the Central Coast and in the Central Valley of California as well.  They have set up new offices in Santa Barbara and Fresno. 

On a related note, CAL has moved their Bay Area offices to Bishop Ranch in San Ramon.  Please make sure that you have their new numbers.

11/24/2003 - Toronto and Vicinity Signed On
Birchwood Lighting is excited to announce our new representation in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and it's vicinity.  In Toronto, we will be represented by Rainbow Lighting Agencies.  In the rest of the Southwestern Ontario territory, we will be represented by The Medgar Lighting Group.  If you are in these areas, please give them a call to find out more about Birchwood Lighting. 

10/1/2003 - New Version of BirchwoodLighting.com Launched
We are proud to announce the new updated version of BirchwoodLighting.com.  Now there are easier to follow links to important things like cut sheets for all fixtures in PDF format.  There are also new pictures of installations so you can see what many of our luminaires look like in the field.  Just click on the yellow words to be taken to that section.  If you have any problems using the site or have ideas for other content, please contact the webmaster.

5/16/2003 - The Truth Has Prevailed
