1/28/12 The NOLAN fixture is now available
(formerly FCSQ)
Birchwood Lighting strives to
supply the highest quality products to our customer. It is in
this spirit that we are excited to introduce NOLAN: our 3.25"
square linear luminaire. We are always working on improving our
fixtures in order to accommodate the most recent lamp and
ballast technology, while still providing innovation in design
and engineering. After our decision to re-tool the FCSQ and
expand the housing by 3/8", we have not only retained the look
and the feel of this fixture, but the re-engineered lens
provides effortless removal and replacement making maintenance a
dream. NOLAN can accommodate up to 2 fluorescent lamps as well
as the latest LED light engines. New spec sheets and additional
information is available on the
NOLAN web page.

Choctaw Casino - Jake Recessed
Birchwood Lighting is featured in the application spotlight for

This article features the Choctaw Casino Project
that we worked on with lighting design group Visual Terrain.
Birchwood
Lighting was called on for a very customized linear recessed
luminaire and the new JAKE system was the right choice for this
project.

now available
We have added 2 new options for the Hailey
fixture line. We have a very clean surface mount rotation
Hailey 225 RSM.
And the new
Hailey 475, a 4.75" up/ down light with integral ballast

4/7/11 New Osram Seamless lamps now available!
These new seamless lamps open up many
possibilities in many of our fixtures. This lamp eliminates dead
space at the end of fixtures and socket shadows for continuous
run applications. This new lamp is available in T5 ands T5HO,
dimmable, in all the standard lengths. Contact factory for more

2/17/11 New website look!
Birchwood Lighting is excited to
show off a new look on our website. There are some improvements
to the navigation and product shots. This should help everyone
introduce our products and download important cutsheets for
specification.

Lighting Welcomes Art Smith, Product Designer
Birchwood Lighting, Inc. is proud to announce
that Art Smith has joined our family and will be filling the
role of Product Designer. Art comes to Birchwood with many years of experience in the lighting
industry. His latest role was as a Mechanical Design Engineer
at Allscape. There, he was responsible for new product design
incorporating HID, fluorescent and LED sources. We are very excited to have Art on board. He fits well into our plan of
eventual world domination, starting at the lighting level.
5/14/10 Light Fair 2010 Las Vegas
Light Fair was a great success this year! We had a great turnout
and thank you for all of our reps, customers, and prospective
customers that came by the booth to say hi and check out our new
